Politico.com: Nah an der Macht
Eine der besten Internetseiten in Bezug auf das politische System und politische Prozesse der Vereinigten Staaten ist Politico.com. Vor wenigen Jahren erst gegründet, hat die Seite sich zu einem der meistbesuchten und meistzitierten Informationsangebote im Internet entwickelt. Inzwischen gibt es in Washington rund um Capitol Hill sogar eine (kostenlos erhältliche) gedruckte Ausgabe der Highlights der Online-Berichterstattung, man ist im Vergleich zu den Informationsangeboten der Zeitungen den umgekehrten Weg gegangen: zunächst online, dann gedruckt. Ein aktueller Artikel in der Fachzeitschrift politik + kommunikation beleuchtet das Medienunternehmen Politico. Es ist übrigens kein Zufall, dass wir seit den Anfängen dieses Blogs auf Politico verlinken.:)
