Zwei Tage vor der Landtagswahl 2011
Dreizehn Fernsehsender, sieben Presse- und Fotoagenturen, acht Hörfunksender, achtzehn Zeitungen, mehrere Internetredaktionen und viele freie Journalisten sowie insgesamt an die 1000 Gäste werden am Wahlabend des 20. März 2011 den Landtag in Magdeburg bevölkern. Dort laufen die Vorbereitungen für den Wahlabend auf Hochtouren, wovon Sie sich hier und hier überzeugen können.
Zuvor begehen die politischen Parteien mit Bundesprominenz den Abschluss des Wahlkampfes. Am Mittwoch war Bundesaußenminister Guido Westerwelle in Magdeburg, gestern abend ist Jürgen Trittin im Hallenser Enchiladas aufgetreten. Ebenfalls in der Stadt war Gregor Gysi, um für Unterstützung für Linke-Spitzenkandidat Wulf Gallert zu werben. Sigmar Gabriel ist heute für die SPD in der Stadt (18:30h im Steintor-Varieté), für die CDU wird heute nachmittag in Dessau (Anhalt-Arena, 17:30h) Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel erwartet.
Pünktlich zum Wahltermin hat sich in dieser Woche der „Kuschelwahlkampf“, von dem allerorten die Rede ist, doch noch ansatzweise zu einem polarisierten Wahlkampf entwickelt. In der Fernsehdiskussion des MDR zu Beginn der Woche war Schluss mit lustig, wie man in der Mitteldeutschen Zeitung nachlesen kann.
Schwierig wird der Landtagseinzug für die kleinen Parteien. Gleich drei Parteien liegen in den Umfragen um die fünf Prozent, eine Reihe von Parteien sogar darunter. Die MZ hat sich bei ihnen umgesehen.
