Lektüren: „Inszenierung als Beruf“
In den letzten Tagen war Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, ein gutes halbes Jahr nach seinem Rücktritt von allen politischen Ämtern, wieder in den Medien präsent: er zieht nun also für die nächsten Jahre mit Familie an die amerikanische Ostküste. Zum gleichen Zeitpunkt erscheint im Suhrkamp-Verlag ein Band, der sich bemüht, das nachzuvollziehen, was damals geschehen ist, quasi das Buch zum Plagiat. Aber zugleich ist das Buch viel mehr: es stellt die Frage, wie Guttenberg im Laufe seiner kurzen bundespolitischen Karriere so schnell so populär werden konnte, analysiert seine ihm eigene Rhethorik und beleuchtet die Rolle des Internets in der Causa Guttenberg.
