„Politico in Europe“ geht an den Start
In Washington hat sich die 2007 gegründete Internetseite Politico innerhalb kürzester Zeit zur Pflichtlektüre für Politiker, Entscheider und andere Journalisten entwickelt. Einige langgediente Mitarbeiter der Washington Post machten sich damals mit dieser Seite selbständig, um Qualitätsjournalismus ins Netz zu bringen. Jetzt wagt Politico den zweiten Schritt: seit dieser Woche gibt es die Seite auch in Europa: aus Brüssel, in englischer Sprache, mit Fokus auf europapolitische Themen. Der Beginn klingt vielversprechend. Anschauen kann man sich die Seite hier. Das Internetportal der Tagesschau und DIE WELT berichten ebenso über die neue Seite wie die Neue Zürcher Zeitung und die Süddeutsche Zeitung.
