Deutsches Internet-Institut geht in Berlin an den Start
Am morigen Donnerstag geht in Berlin das Deutsche Internet-Institut an den Start. Das Institut soll unabhängig und interdisziplinär den digitalen Wandel unter Einbeziehung der rechtlichen, ethischen und ökonomischen Fragen untersuchen. Organisiert wird die Arbeit durch ein Konsortium aus den Universitäten FU Berlin, HU Berlin, TU Berlin, UdK Berlin, Universität Potsdam sowie das Fraunhofer-Institut für Offene Kommunikationssysteme und das Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB), die sich in einem Wettbewerbsprozess durchgesetzt haben (das Bewerbungskonzept findet sich hier). In einem Gespräch mit dem Berliner Tagesspiegel erläutert Prof. Gesche Joost die Arbeit des Instituts.
