Lektüretipp für das Corona-Homeoffice
Derzeit verbringen viele mehr Zeit im Homeoffice als üblich. Das bringt viele neue Herausforderungen mit sich. Ein Buch, das ich zuletzt mit viel Gewinn im eigenen Homeoffice gelesen habe, ist „Gebrauchsanweisung fürs Daheimbleiben“ der Berliner Journalistin Harriet Köhler. Ich liebe diese Reihe der „Gebrauchsanweisungen“ aus dem Piper-Verlag, mit der für gewöhnlich Städte, Regionen und ganze Länder auf eine Weise vorgestellt werden, die über eine rein touristische Betrachtung hinausgeht. Inzwischen gibt es diese Gebrauchsanweisungen auch für das Segeln, für das Skifahren, für Pferde, für das Leben an und für sich und für das Jenseits. Harriet Köhler nun hat sich mit dem eigenen Zuhause beschäftigt und plädiert dafür, die nächste Fernreise durch einen bewusst genossenen Aufenthalt in den eigenen vier Wänden zu ersetzen. Sie beschreibt einen 14-Tage-Plan (offline gehen, eine einfache Mahlzeit kochen, einen Ausflug ins Grüne planen, die Nachbarn näher kennenlernen, sich auf die Spur der Vergangenheit zu begeben oder eine Zimmerreise unternehmen), um das eigene Zuhause näher kennenzulernen. Natürlich muss man als Leser oder Leserin nicht die gesamten 14 Tage durchhalten, aber hin und wieder eine Auszeit daheim zu genießen, ist in Corona-Zeiten vielleicht keine ganz schlechte Idee. Zwar ist das Buch vor dem Ausbruch der Corona-Pandemie fertiggestellt worden, es ist gleichwohl die passende Lektüre zur aktuellen Situation. Details zum Buch (sowie eine Leseprobe) gibt es hier.
