This allows us to gain a better knowledge on the positive consequences of being playful in everyday life and that the German notion of playfulness as being a childish trait should be revised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"block-81792caf-7b88-4a29-a78e-f7808d886967\">Significance of publication<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-968a4349-db16-4efa-b51a-bcb2ebae4e65\">Simple exercises can help to make people more playful and consequently feel more satisfied with their lives. Researchers had participants in an experiment perform a week of exercises to boost their playfulness.
