You will have the opportunity to learn about important areas of the university and its support services during short presentations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<span id=\"Schedule\"><h4>Schedule<\/h4><\/span>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thursday, October 21, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>1:00 &#8211; 1:30 pm: Welcome and opening of the International PhD Days with a greeting by the City of Halle<\/li><li>1:30 &#8211; 2:00 pm: Doctoral studies and InGrA at MLU (Dr. Thomas Michael, InGrA)<\/li><li>2:00 &#8211; 2:30 pm: Presentation on the support services of the International Office <span class=\"amp\">&amp;<\/span> PhD Network (Esther Smykalla <span class=\"amp\">&amp;<\/span> Markus Niedobitek, PhD Network)<\/li><li>18:00 &#8211; 22:00: Get-together at Pei\u00dfnitzhaus with buffet and drinks. According to the current regulations, this face-to-face event will take place according to the &#8220;3G rule&#8221;. This means that only persons who are vaccinated against Covid-19, recovered or tested negatively can participate; proof must be carried with them.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Please register <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.contactus.uni-halle.de\/index.php?cmd=details&amp;eid=188&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> for the first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday, October 22, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the second day of the International PhD Days 2021, two online workshops on &#8220;Starting your PhD in Germany&#8221; and &#8220;Building a sustainable schedule: Work-life balance, resilience, and managing stress&#8221; will be offered by Dr. S\u00edofra McSherry, trainer and coach at Scienza Science Coaching.
