In April, she received the university&#8217;s Dorothea Erxleben Prize for the best dissertation in the social sciences and humanities for her dissertation entitled \u201cAutomated Suspicion Algorithms &#8211; Strafverfolgung durch K\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz am Beispiel der Geldw\u00e4sche\u201d. The prize is endowed with 1,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chemist Dr. Justus Friedrich Th\u00fcmmler has been awarded the university&#8217;s Dorothea Erxleben Prize for his dissertation entitled \u201cNear-Infrared Fluorescent Single-Chain Nanoparticles as Contrast Agents for Photoacoustic Imaging\u201d. He received the prize of 1,000 euros in the life and natural sciences category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jan Sievers, doctoral candidate in the Medical Physics department, received the \u201cStudent Paper Award\u201d of the \u201cEuropean Conferences on Biomedical Optics\u201d at the end of June.
