{"id":6727,"date":"2026-06-02T13:18:56","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T11:18:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.urz.uni-halle.de\/ingra\/?p=6727"},"modified":"2026-06-02T13:22:41","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T11:22:41","slug":"gso-kt-boost-fund-info-webinar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.urz.uni-halle.de\/ingra\/2026\/06\/gso-kt-boost-fund-info-webinar\/","title":{"rendered":"[GSO] KT Boost Fund + Info Webinar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>GSO is now accepting applications for the 8th cohort of the Klaus Tschira Boost Fund, providing up to&nbsp;<strong>\u20ac115,000<\/strong>&nbsp;in funding for&nbsp;<strong>postdoctoral researchers<\/strong>&nbsp;who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>conduct non-clinical research in one or more of the following areas:&nbsp;<strong>Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geosciences, Mathematics, Neurosciences<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Physics<\/strong><\/li><li>are employed at a public university, university of applied sciences, or non-university research institution in Germany,<\/li><li>do not yet have a permanent or tenured position,<\/li><li>and have not yet successfully secured funding for a junior research group program<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a collaborative initiative between GSO and the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/klaus-tschira-stiftung.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Klaus Tschira Stiftung<\/a>, the program is designed to boost scientific careers and promote early independence for postdocs through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Flexible funding<\/strong>&nbsp;for innovative and interdisciplinary research projects<\/li><li>Opportunities to build(international)&nbsp;<strong>collaborations&nbsp;<\/strong>and<strong>&nbsp;networks<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Workshops, coaching<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>peer support<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gsonet.org\/funding-programs\/klaus-tschira-boost-fund\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KT Boost Fund Program Page<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<span id=\"Important_dates:\"><h4>Important dates:<\/h4><\/span>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Application deadline: October 1, 2026, at 23:59 CEST<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Project start: between May 1 and October 1, 2027<\/strong><\/li><li>Don&#8217;t miss the&nbsp;<strong>info webinar:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>July 8, 2026, at 4 pm CEST<\/strong>.
