It introduced the basic theoretical and technical concepts necessary for an understanding of data\/spectrum acquisition in pulsed NMR and the information content, and focused on a few specific experimental techniques to study dynamics in polymer and biopolymer systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h5>Schedule<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Basics: spins polarization, pulsed NMR, precession, FID<br>signal and sensitivity, relaxation times (KS)<\/li><li>Technical details: function of a pulsed NMR spectrometer<br>(GH)<\/li><li>Data acquisition and processing: Fourier trans-formation,<br>phases and offsets, sampling issues (GH)<\/li><li>Afternoon lab: learn to apply the basics (KS, GH, YG)<br><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\"><li>Solid-state NMR: line broadening by anisotropic interactions,dipole-dipole couplings, dynamic averaging effects (KS)<\/li><li>(Pulsed) field gradients: imaging and diffusion (GH)<br>7 Afternoon lab: play with soft matter samples<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>qualitative molecular mobility by 1H low-field NMR (KS)<\/li><li>learn how to use and calibrate gradients (1H low field, MC)<\/li><li>diffusion measurement in protein solutions (1H high field, AK)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Literature<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>J.
