This work described for the first time the endogenous, full metabolon of pyruvate oxidation with cryoEM of complex mixtures. We also applied complementary proteomics methods to derive more information about the spatial enzyme proximity. <br>Our work is unprecedented in understanding the structure-function relationships in pyruvate oxidation.
