Jordanian Distributor Opens Databases for the FID<\/h2>\n

\"Screenhot<\/a>The database provider e-Marefa has opened its complete site for the circle of users<\/a> of our Specialized Information Service for 2 months.

According to the provider, there are about 2,200,000 data sets available, covering numerous disciplines and study programmes. These include topics such as Middle East Studies<\/a>, Maghreb Studies<\/a>, Islamic Studies and Arabic Language<\/a> or the Palestinian Affairs and the Arab-Israeli Conflict<\/a>.<\/p>\n

E-Marefa offers academic and statistical journals, Arabic dissertations, book reviews, e-books, research reports, Arabic reviews of international theses, conference papers and much more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Access<\/h2>\n

Access is available to members of the institutions of our circle of users<\/a> until 31 March 2024. Authentication is based on the IP numbers of the respective network. A VPN or other remote connection is required when working in the home office.<\/p>\n

If you do not belong to any of the institutions in our user group, but still belong to our specialist community in Germany and are interested in using this test licence, you can register with an individual user account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. Systematic downloading or printing of entire journal issues or volumes, or large portions of other e-resources (articles, theses, books,..) is not permitted.<\/li>\n
  2. Use of robots or intelligent agents to do systematic, bulk or automatic downloading is not permitted.<\/li>\n
  3. Transmitting, disseminating or otherwise making online content available to unauthorized users (i.e. sending to mailing lists or electronic bulletin boards) is not permitted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
