We present the benefits of the Specialized Information Service Middle East, North Africa and Islamic Studies for your academic work. In a presentation of about 60 minutes, we explain the FID with its most important services and answer your questions.<\/p>\n

Topics<\/h2>\n

A central topic is our acquisitions<\/a> of printed works and digital licences<\/a>. Here we explain the features of our Virtual Library<\/a> for your research and how you can use our holdings from your location.<\/p>\n

We also present our discovery system MENAsearch<\/a>, as well as our repository MENAdoc<\/a> with over 13,000 open access titles and provide suggestions for your first or second digital publication<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another topic is our exchange with the academic community and how we give them advice, for example, on how to deal with research data in Oriental Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Target Group<\/h2>\n

The presentation is aimed at academic staff and students, preferably with a focus on Oriental and Islamic Studies. Experience shows that our roadshows receive the best response when they are embedded in a colloquium or a lecture series.<\/p>\n
