Image Contest 2026 Finale: Pitch Your Image — Live Under the Dome

The Image Contest 2026 is heading into its final round. On 14 September 2026, the researchers and students who dared to pitch will present their winning images live at Planetarium Halle — three minutes each, projected large-scaleonto the dome.

A jury will award the Best Pitch Award, and the Audience Favourite — already chosen by visitors during this summer’s exhibition — will be revealed live on stage.

The event is free and open to the public (ages 10+), with pitches held in German or English and a live automatic translation projected as subtitles throughout. Doors open at 16:30, the programme runs from 17:00 to approximately 19:00, and small drinks and snacks will be available.

As seating is limited, registration is required. For full details see also our Image Contest 2026 page.

Looking forward!
