PARTICIPANTS:<\/strong> The competition is open to members and students of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, as well as local institutes and scientific institutions.<\/p>\n TEILNEHMENDE: Der Wettbewerb steht Angeh\u00f6rigen und Studierenden der Martin-Luther-Universit\u00e4t Halle-Wittenberg, sowie lokalen Instituten und wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen offen.<\/p>\n SUBMISSION:<\/strong> Images must be submitted in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and must be sized to fit within the DIN A1 dimensions (approximately 59.4 x 84.1 cm). All image submissions must be made through the digital registration form provided on our website<\/p>\n Images should be of the highest quality in terms of file size, bit depth and resolution (max. 20 MB). The images must have been taken by the entrant using an imaging device. Re-colouring is permitted. The submission description has to be written in German and English, as the additional information will be displayed bilingually.<\/p>\n The submitter must be in possession of the copyright or ancillary copyright\/any copyright or ancillary copyright of the recording. The entry must not contain any material that infringes the rights of others. This also includes trademark, data protection, publicity, copyright or other intellectual property rights. There is no right of veto against the selection decision of the university, the hanging in the public exhibition and the award ceremony. Legal recourse is excluded. The entrant expressly declares that his\/her entry fulfils the aforementioned conditions. The university reserves the right to exclude participants from the photo competition if they violate the conditions of participation.<\/p>\n EINREICHUNG: Die Bilder m\u00fcssen im JPEG-, PNG- oder TIFF-Format mit einer Mindestaufl\u00f6sung von 300 dpi eingereicht werden und auf das Format DIN A1 (ca. 59,4 x 84,1 cm) zugeschnitten sein. Alle Bildeinreichungen m\u00fcssen \u00fcber das digitale Anmeldeformular auf unserer Website erfolgen.<\/p>\n Die Bilder sollten hinsichtlich Dateigr\u00f6\u00dfe, Bittiefe und Aufl\u00f6sung von h\u00f6chstm\u00f6glicher Qualit\u00e4t sein (max. 20 MB). Die Bilder m\u00fcssen von der einreichenden Person selbst mit einem bildgebenden Verfahren aufgenommen worden sein. Nachtr\u00e4gliche Einf\u00e4rbungen\/Colorierungen sind erlaubt.<\/p>\n Die Bildbeschreibung muss zweisprachig (Deutsch und Englisch) erfolgen, da die Informationen auch zweisprachig ausgestellt werden.<\/p>\n Die einreichende Person muss \u00fcber die Urheberrechte bzw. Leistungsschutzrechte an der Aufnahme verf\u00fcgen. Die Einreichung darf keine Inhalte enthalten, die Rechte Dritter verletzen \u2013 hierzu z\u00e4hlen insbesondere Marken-, Datenschutz-, Pers\u00f6nlichkeits-, Urheber- oder andere Schutzrechte.<\/p>\n Es besteht kein Einspruchsrecht gegen die Auswahlentscheidung der Universit\u00e4t, das Aush\u00e4ngen im Rahmen der \u00f6ffentlichen Ausstellung oder die Preisvergabe. Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen.<\/p>\n PITCH-EVENT:<\/strong> The „Pitch your Image “ event is a competition where participants will present their images and tell the story behind them to a live audience and a jury. The event aims to showcase the best images and pitches, and to award the most convincing and engaging presentation. By participating in the „Pitch Your Image“ event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:<\/p>\n PITCH EVENT:<\/p>\n Bei der Veranstaltung „Pitch Your Image“ handelt es sich um einen Wettbewerb, bei dem die Teilnehmer ihre Bilder und die Geschichte dahinter vor einem Live-Publikum und einer Jury pr\u00e4sentieren. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, die besten Bilder und Pitches zu pr\u00e4sentieren und die \u00fcberzeugendste und spannendste Pr\u00e4sentation zu pr\u00e4mieren. Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den allgemeinen Gesch\u00e4ftsbedingungen der Veranstaltung gilt Folgendes:<\/p>\n Mit der Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung \u201ePitch Your Image\u201c erkl\u00e4ren Sie sich mit den folgenden Bedingungen einverstanden:<\/p>\n DATA PROTECTION:<\/strong> For participation in the competition, your voluntarily provided personal data (e-mail address, name\/author, institution) will be processed by MLU on the basis of your consent as explained in detail below in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You have the right to request information about the personal data stored by us and attributable to your person at any time (Art. 15 GDPR). Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. All submitted files and information will be stored by the organization team on site, will not be passed on to other recipients or third parties and will be deleted at the latest 2 weeks after the end of the competition. \nDie \u00dcbermittlung erfolgt \u00fcber ein elektronisches Formular. Sie haben das Recht, Ihre Einwilligung jederzeit mit Wirkung f\u00fcr die Zukunft zu widerrufen, ohne dass die Rechtm\u00e4\u00dfigkeit der bis zum Widerruf erfolgten Verarbeitung ber\u00fchrt wird. Die Nutzung erfolgt ohne Verg\u00fctung, Benachrichtigung oder weitere Gegenleistung und ohne zus\u00e4tzliche Mitteilung.
\nUngeachtet dieser Einwilligung bleibt die einreichende Person Inhaber*in der Urheber- bzw. Leistungsschutzrechte an den Bildern. Die eingereichten Bilder d\u00fcrfen nicht Bestandteil zuk\u00fcnftiger Patente sein.<\/p>\n

\nThe participants will present their pitch during the pitch event in front of the audience and a jury. The jury will select the best pitch and award it after all participants have presented. Legal recourse is excluded in regard to the jury’s decision and any potential evaluation of the submitted entries.<\/p>\n
\nThroughout the entire exhibition, visitors can vote for the winner of the Visitors Favorite award. Voting takes place online and can be accessed via a QR code. After the deadline, the organization team will count the votes, and the image with the most votes will win. The prize is a high-quality print of the winning image on a framed canvas.<\/p>\n
\nDie Teilnehmer pr\u00e4sentieren ihren Pitch im Rahmen der Pitchveranstaltung vor Publikum und einer Jury. Die Jury w\u00e4hlt den besten Pitch aus und pr\u00e4miert diesen im Anschluss an die Vorstellung aller Teilnehmenden. Der Rechtsweg ist in Hinblick auf die Entscheidung der Jury und die etwaige Beurteilung der eingereichten Gewinnbeitr\u00e4ge ausgeschlossen.<\/p>\n
\nW\u00e4hrend der gesamten Ausstellung kann f\u00fcr den Gewinner des Publikumspreises abgestimmt werden. Die Abstimmung findet online statt und wird via QR-Code zug\u00e4nglich gemacht. Nach Ablauf der Frist erfolgt die Ausz\u00e4hlung der Stimmen durch das Organisationsteam, und das Bild mit den meisten Stimmen gewinnt.
