The suggestion to delete the first post and begin with a clean entry is sensible: keeping a generic placeholder as an introduction would make the blog harder to navigate. I would review that guide with the group before publishing the new entry.
After maintaining a few WordPress sites, I agree that deleting the default “Hello World!” post avoids confusing first impressions, especially when automated comments quickly crowd the page. I would keep it only if rewritten as a clear welcome, much like mentioning Spades Game as a low-key way to test whether a new community prefers a quick shared activity or a longer discussion. Would you keep the starter post or replace it with a focused first topic?
