Discussion round – Focus Group

MAPPING EXISTING EXPERTISE AND ANALYTICAL INTERFACES

On 25 March 2026 a discussion round is planned as part of the joint retreat of the CRC 1644 and CRC 1664 – SNP2Prot. The focus groups are designed to map existing scientific and methodological expertise and to identify analytical and methodological interfaces between the two CRCs.

Objectives

  • Foster exchange and mutual understanding between projects of both CRCs
  • Make existing expertise, methods, data, and infrastructures visible
  • Identify potential analytical and methodological cross-overs

Format and Setup

  • Three parallel focus groups
  • Self-selection of participants beforehand by web query
  • PIs and ECRs discuss separated (Step 1), then together (Step 2)
  • Moderation teams composed of members from both CRCs

    Workshop – Research Data Management

    Here you can sign up to the SNP2Prot Research Data Management workshop. We will briefly talk about some general Research Data Management concepts and best practices and then mostly focus on working practically with ARCs and the ARCitect software.
