Mein Name ist Raimundo, ich komme aus Brasilien und habe meinen Bachelor in Biologischer Physik am Institut für Biowissenschaften (IBILCE) der Universität Estadual Paulista „Júlio de Mesquita Filho“ (UNESP) gemacht. Dies ist eine staatliche, öffentliche Universität im Bundesstaat São Paulo – gleichnamig der Hauptstadt von Brasilien – und gilt als eine der besten Universitäten des Landes. Sie hat einen Multi-Campus-Charakter, besteht also aus mehrere Campi, die im ganzen Staat verteilt sind.
Ein weiterer durchaus interessanter Punkt ist, dass jeder Campus eine eigene „sportliche“ Einheit hat, die von Studenten mit Unterstützung der Universität gegründet wurde, um den Sport zu fördern. Dadurch können Kurse für verschiedene Sportarten und Kampfkünste angeboten werden. Ich persönlich besuche das Training für Leichtathletik, Handball und Schach.
Mein tägliches Leben gliedert sich in den Unterricht und das Labor, in dem ich seit meinem zweiten Studienjahr Projekte auf dem Gebiet der Molekularbiophysik entwickelte, deren Forschungsschwerpunkt auf dem Gebiet der Protein-Ligand-Wechselwirkung liegt – Nanobiotechnologie. Außerdem habe ich Projekte rund ums Schauspielen für Grundschüler im Mathematik- und Naturwissenschaftsunterricht entwickelt.
An den Wochenenden gehe ich normalerweise mit Freunden zu Partys, Konzerten und Debatten. Letztere besonders, durch all das politischen Chaos, das in meinem Land leider passiert.
My name is Raimundo, I come from Brazil and I did my Bachelor in Biological Physics at the Institute for Biosciences (IBILCE) at the University Estadual Paulista „Júlio de Mesquita Filho“ (UNESP).
This is a state-owned, public university in the state of São Paulo – which is the same name as the capital of Brazil – and is considered one of the best universities in the country. It has a multi-campus character, i.e. it consists of several campi that are spread across the state.
Another very interesting point is that each campus has its own „sporting“ unit, which was founded by students with the support of the university to promote sport. As a result, courses for various sports and martial arts can be offered. I personally attend the training for athletics, handball and chess.
My daily life is divided into lessons and the laboratory, in which I have been developing projects in the field of molecular biophysics since my second year of study, whose research focus is in the field of protein-ligand interaction lies – nanobiotechnology. I also developed projects related to acting for elementary school students in math and science classes.
On weekends I usually go to parties, concerts and debates with friends. The latter, in particular, because of all the political chaos that unfortunately is happening in my country.
Meu nome é Raimundo, sou brasileiro e curso Bacharelado em Física Biológica no Instituto de Biociências, Letras e Ciências Exatas (IBILCE) da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP). A mesma é uma universidade pública estadual do estado de São Paulo e é considerada uma das melhores universidades do país. Tem caráter multi campi, portanto, tem diversas unidades distribuídas por todo o estado, com relação ao campus em que estudo, o mesmo fica situado na região noroeste do estado.
Outro ponto interessante é o de que cada campus tem sua própria “atlética”, entidade criada por alunos com suporte da universidade, para incentiva á prática de esportes, com isso, eles oferecem treinos para diversos esportes e artes marciais, no meu caso, treino atletismo, handebol e xadrez.
Com relação ao meu dia a dia, o mesmo é dividido entre ir ás aulas e ao laboratório, local onde desenvolvo projetos na área de biofísica molecular desde o meu segundo ano de graduação, cuja a pesquisa é focada na área de interação proteína – ligantes e nanobiotecnologia. Também já desenvolvi projetos na área de ensino de matemática e ciências com uso de jogos de xadrez para alunos de ensino fundamental.
Aos finais de semana costumo sair com amigos para festas, shows e debates, principalmente agora, com todo o caos político que está acontecendo em meu país.
