Calling all scientists, researchers, and students from Martin-Luther-University, local research institutes, and scientific institutions. We invite you to participate in our exciting image contest, where you can showcase your stunning scientific images and share the fascinating stories behind them.

Explore the Invisible, Explain the Complex

In the world of science, there are countless phenomena that remain invisible to the naked eye. Our contest challenges you to capture these phenomena using various imaging techniques, from microscopy to telescopes, and present them in a way that is easy to understand for a wide audience.

New and Exciting Changes this Year

• Our exhibition will run for two weeks, giving more people the opportunity to experience the beauty of scientific imaging.
• We introduce an opening event where you can present your image in a 3-minute pitch, competing for the „Best Pitch“ award.
• Two prices will be awarded: one for the „Best Pitch“ and another for the „Visitors‘ Favorite“, which will be determined by public voting during the exhibition.
