Forschungsnetzwerke

Seit Gründung des MZP war die Infrastruktur in zahlreichen Forschungsverbünden der Naturwissenschaftlichen und Medizinischen Fakultäten der MLU die Grundlage für strukturbiologische Untersuchungen an Biomakromolekülen. Hierzu zählen der Landesschwerpunkt Molekulare Biowissenschaften, die DFG Sonderforschungsbereiche 604 (Jena-Halle, 2002 - 2009), 610 (Leipzig-Halle, 2002 - 2012), TRR 102 (Halle-Leipzig, 2011 - 2023), die DFG Graduiertenkollegs 1026 (Halle, 2005 – 2013), 2133 (Halle – Jena, 2016 - 2020), 2467 (Halle, 2019 – 2028) und Forschungsgruppe 5433 (2023 – 20027), sowie die BMBF Initiativen ProNet-T3 (Halle – München, 2009 - 2012), HALOmem (Halle, 2009 -2023) und CORONAmem (Halle, 2021 – 2024).

With a vast network of over 100 collaborators, the MZP serves as a dynamic hub for both basic and translational research, propelling the field of structural biology to new frontiers.
