This entry is quite image heavy.

This is inside the famous Bulguksa Temple, beautiful architecture.
While visiting this historical place we were quite lucky to arrive a bit early, before the regular „tourist time“.
Image heavy!
This artwork is actually a door inside the Bulguksa Temple complex.
I can imagine the vivid colors hundred years ago, must’ve been a stunning view.
Namsangol Hanok Village was another place we visited while staying in Korea.
It is a replica of a traditional korean village and although there were lots of tourists we were able to grasp the spirit of the old tradition and way of life…
During our stay at the Namsangol Hanok Village, we caught someone special wandering around the grounds…
A man, in the traditional clothes of a groom!
To our delight, a traditional wedding reception was scheduled that day (open for tourists too!) and of course we stayed to watch the ceremony.
It was a real wedding, just open to interested viewers too.
In this picture the groom is is being helped into the traditional garments by the ceremonial master (aide to guide the groom and the bride through the ceremony).
