Helene will stay in the group to do her PhD. She was awarded a PhD scholarship from The German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). Congratulations!

Six participants from Cell Phys Halle at the International Conference in Plant Mitochondria Biologie in Malmö, Sweden.

Two of our students successfully defended their bachelor theses recently. Congratulations to Monique and Clara.
Valentin defended his master thesis, such a shame it had to be on-line and that we could not celebrate properly. Congratulations Valentin!
The corona semester is almost finished. Our work has been very disturbed by the pandemic. Teaching was very challenging, research was slowed down but luckily we manage to keep everything running and we did not lose our smiles (except when Sandy had to leave us).
Our first bachelor student successfully defended her thesis. Congratulations to Helene!
