Das zweite Treffen der Research Data Alliance, gemeinsam mit der Deutschen Initiative für Netzwerkinformation (DINI) veranstaltet, findet nächste Woche in Potsdam statt. Am 25./26. November 2015 treffen sich Teilnehmer im Deutschen GeoForschungsZentrum GFZ. Zunächst werden RDA-Aktivitäten vorgestellt, der zweite Teil der Veranstaltung widmet sich dagegen verschiedenen Trainingskursen. Ein Schwerpu
nkt ist die Archivierung von Forschungsdaten als eine institutionelle Aufgabe. Daneben spielten vor allem Fragen der komponentenbasierten Softwareentwicklung (Common Components) eine große Rolle. Der Workshop richtet sich vor allem an große Einrichtungen, die eigene Datenrepositorien betreiben.
