The e-mail notification for new posts is implemented with the plugin “Mailpoet2”. This service records which links users have clicked on in the newsletter (for example, when clicking on the post title to read the article). By subscribing, you agree to this statistical recording.
This report cannot be deactivated but is only displayed to the local administrators of the blog and is not passed on to the plugin provider.
Users can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking “Abmelden” at the bottom of the newsletter e-mail.
Registrations for the newsletter must be documented in order to confirm proper registration. For this purpose, the time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address of the user are stored.
