But then something happened: I got married and had kids. My wife got pregnant with our first child—and then our second child—and then we had another child after that. When my wife was pregnant with our third child, she asked me if we should stop having children altogether because she didn’t want to have anymore. But I told her that even though our lives were getting busier and busier, it didn’t matter because we still had each other and that was all that mattered! She listened to me this time around, and so far there’s been no more talk of stopping having babies altogether—but now we’re both working full-time jobs and taking care of our children by ourselves (which isn’t easy).
