    <br> During BTAC performance testing the Eco-Link was given an „excellent“ rating for its performance in maneuverability, productivity, safety and emissions tests, exceeding ordinary semi repair in my area-trailer trucks in many respects. Performance goodies abounded — special road wheels, white-letter tires, a tuned 440 V-8, heavy-duty suspension — set off by a gold-and-white paint job, custom hood, trunklid spoiler, special grille, pinstriping, and unique interior. This year, however, the latter was called Custom 300 (though Ford itself often referred to it simply as the Custom) because it received the gold anodized side trim inserts as on the Custom 300 cars. Expanding the ’67 line were the Newport Custom two- and four-door hardtops and four-door sedan. After ’75, Imperial actually became a Brougham via the badge-engineering so long practiced by Chrysler — to the confusion of customers up and down the corporate line. The ’61 line was mostly a repeat of 1960 save somewhat more contrived styling. More importantly, while on the road, the vehicle consumes less than 2kWh per mile.<br>
    <br> The victorious U.S. forces occupied the southern part of the peninsula up to the 38th parallel, while Soviet forces occupied the northern half. Bantam had been denied a chance to bid when it had performed the major part in the jeep’s development. Despite the strict regulations that govern the commercial trucking industry, accidents involving semi-trucks continue to be a major concern for motorists and pedestrians. Despite remaining on the 124-inch wheelbase, all models were bigger than ever: almost 225 inches long and nearly 80 inches wide — about as big as American cars would ever get. Sales sank mightily in the wake of the first energy crisis despite a completely redesigned crop of 1974 models, still on a 124-inch wheelbase but about five inches shorter than the „fuselage“ generation. The post-1964 Engel Chryslers were shorter than their Exner forebears but just as spacious inside. These moves and the conservative Engel styling paid off in vastly higher volume: 206,000-plus for ’65, nearly 265,000 the following year.<br>

Unfortunately, some semi-truck drivers are negligent or reckless, putting the lives of other road users at risk. Another lawsuit involved a semi-truck accident that caused multiple injuries. The lawsuit ended with A&M Logistics LP agreeing to a settlement of $750,000.<br>
    <br> Spring 1968 brought the interesting $126 „Sportsgrain“ option: wagon-type simulated-wood side paneling for the Newport convertible and hardtop coupe. As a result, letter-series volume dropped from about 1600 for ’61 to just 558. Arriving as 1963 „spring specials“ were a 300 Pace Setter hardtop and convertible and the New Yorker Salon hardtop sedan. This left a notchback coupe and a four-door sport sedan (with throwback „suicide“ rear doors) in each series, plus a Cosmopolitan convertible. The Boneschi convertible functioned beautifully and was immaculate. For all its on-highway trucks, Freightliner identified six main contributing factors that matter most to owners and drivers. Or automatically deploying roll bars for that matter? Chrysler did very well for 1965, selling over 125,000 Newports, nearly 30,000 non-letter 300s and almost 50,000 New Yorkers. By 1965, Newport’s annual sales were exceeding 125,000. The ’61 carried a 265-bhp 361 V-8; Windsor and New Yorker retained their previous engines.<br>
