The Wittenberg Teacher Academy 2024 is dedicated to issues of media literacy and U.S. democracy. We offer 2.5 days of talks, interactive workshops, screenings and informed conversation sessions by U.S., Scottish, and German scholars, practitioners, and emerging artists with talks and workshops on the interconnectedness of media practices and citizenship, issues around social media, KI, and media at large in the EFL-classroom, modern American drama’s engagement with new media and politics, as well as simulation games of U.S. elections, and much more.
