In connection to the Crosscurrents-Conference on Women and Health in the 19th Century, the Intercontinental Crosscurrents Network is going to publish a special issue on Women and Health in the 19th-Century Transatlantic World with the The Journal of Transatlantic Studies. This special issue will be co-edited by Julia Nitz and Inêz Tadeu (University of Madeira), with support from Lena-Mareike Holz, Amy Inestroza, and Laura-Isabella Hüttemann.
