Plenary lecture by Panos at the ELIXIR 3D BioInfo Community F2F/hybrid meeting – Annual General Meeting!

Panos gave the Plenary Lecture at the ELIXIR 3D BioInfo Community Annual General Meeting, in the Wellcome Campus, UK!

He showed the importance of cryo-EM, in combination with protein model prediction and other integrative techniques in the study of native cell extracts. Attending the fireworks display for the 5th of November celebrations was an added bonus!

  1. What a fabulous post this has been. Never seen this kind of useful post. I am grateful to you and expect more number of posts like these. Thank you very much FloridaBlue

  2. Wow, what an insightful presentation! It’s amazing how cryo-EM and protein modeling are revolutionizing cellular research. This reminds me of perfecting pizza orders in Papa’s Pizzeria – you need the right ingredients (techniques) and precise timing (execution) to create something truly spectacular. And a fireworks display after? Sounds like a perfect November 5th!

  3. That sounds like a really impactful presentation, Panos! It’s great to see cryo-EM being highlighted alongside other advanced techniques for studying native cell extracts. The combination you described seems like it could unlock a lot of new insights. Speaking of creative combinations, I saw someone modding an old car into a giant, rolling sculpture – looked kind of like an Eggy Car but with wheels! Sounds like a worthwhile conference, plus fireworks – perfect!
