The seminal lab paper is out! Visualizing metabolons from native cell extracts at unprecedented resolution!

I am feeling very proud and honored to have worked together with my team to publish this seminal work of us in Cell Reports. This work described for the first time the endogenous, full metabolon of pyruvate oxidation with cryoEM of complex mixtures. We also applied complementary proteomics methods to derive more information about the spatial enzyme proximity.
Our work is unprecedented in understanding the structure-function relationships in pyruvate oxidation. Thanks to the whole lab, and especially Staff Scientist Fotis!
