Paola Modicano, M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Messina in Italy, has joined our lab to provide us with the critical expertise gained during her PhD, that took place in the MLU’s Institute of Pharmacy, on Formulation and Characterization of Drug Delivery Systems!
Her knowledge will be applied to expand our native nanodisc project that aims to characterize membrane-embedded complexes along with their native membrane environment! DLS, fluorescence spectroscopy and UV/Vis spectroscopy are just some of the arrows in her quiver of techniques!
