Panos was invited as a keynote speaker at the Grenoble research consortium in integrated structural & cell biology and their annual event #48hofGRAL, where he presented our lab’s research on cell extracts and the pipelines we use to integrate data from multiple sources. The consortium encompasses multiple labs from CNRS, EMBL and others.
It was a great opportunity to talk science, revisit old collaborators, friends and establish new projects! Until next year!

Great post! Understanding cellular structures is fascinating. Your lab’s work integrating data from multiple sources sounds complex but crucial. It reminds me of the problem-solving involved in Slope Game – navigating challenges and integrating strategies to reach the goal. Keep sharing these updates; it’s inspiring to see the progress in structural biology research.

That sounds like a fantastic opportunity, Panos! Presenting at the #48hofGRAL event at Grenoble, especially with such a diverse group of researchers from CNRS and EMBL, must have been really stimulating. Your work on cell extracts and data integration pipelines sounds incredibly valuable. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in visualizing and understanding complex biological systems. Thinking about complex biological systems actually reminds me of how intricate some video game environments are these days – have you seen the detail in some modern 3D modelling? It’s almost like trying to simulate the emergent behavior of a complex system, or, in a completely different context, even visualizing something as wild as crazy cattle 3D in a digital simulation. I hope you made some great connections and fostered some productive new collaborations! Looking forward to hearing more about the projects that come out of it.
Great insights from Panos at the #48hofGRAL event! The integration of data from multiple sources is truly impressive and essential for advancing structural biology. For those interested in complex problem-solving, similar to this research, check out these math games that sharpen analytical skills.
