Typen von Lehr- und Lernsoftware

Eine Grundvoraussetzung zur Evaluierung von Lehr- und Lernsoftware ist die Gattungsanalyse. Ausgegeben habe ich im Seminar bisher vor allem Lehr- und Lernsoftware aus dem kommerziellen Bereich, die vor allem unter den Typus: Drill- and Practice-Programme fällt. Die englische Bezeichnung ist so schön programmatisch!Meine stille Hoffnung war bisher, viele von Ihnen mögen mir die CDs wieder zurück geben, da Sie durch Ihre eigenen Recherchen viel interessante Projekte gefunden haben. Leider ist dieser Schritt bisher (fast) nur aus anderen Gründen erfolgt.

Vielleicht bringt eine Annährung an die Rezensionen hier noch größere Erleuchtung. Einen erstmal sinnfälligen Überblick über die gängigen Arten von Lehr- und Lernsoftware bietet das Schweizer Portal zu Lehr- und Lernsoftware: EvaSoft. Im Kontext dieses engagierten Projekts des Schweizer Bildungsservers finden sich zudem viele hilfreiche Ausführungen zu Medienkompetenzen, Evaluationsstrategien und den Einsatz von digitalen Hilfsmitteln: Neben den hier schon genannten Angeboten (sodis, feibel) von besonderer Wichtigkeit für unser Projekt!

Das Projekt unterscheidet – unter der Einschränkung nur Lernsoftware zu evaluieren – folgende Typen:

(1) Wissens-/ Informationssysteme (Visualisierungssoftware, Nachschlagewerke, Lexika, Hypertext / Hypermedia-Programme):

(2)  Übungs- und Testsoftware (Drill-/ and Practice-Programm): Ein bereits erarbeiteter Lerninhalt/ Lernstoff wird eingeübt, vertieft und/ oder geprüft. Z.B. Trainings- und Testsoftware wie Vokabel-, Mathematik- und Rechtschreibetrainer.

(3) Tutorials, Tutorensysteme (Lehrsysteme, Lehrprogramme, Tutorielle Programme): Ein didaktisch aufbereiteter Lerninhalt, «neues» Wissen wird schrittweise und systematisch vermittelt, sowie evtl. eingeübt/ geprüft. Die Software übernimmt die Rolle der Lehrperson (Tutor).

(4) Simulationen, Simulationsprogramme (Modellbildungsprogramme, Experimentierumgebungen)

(5)  Mikrowelten (Editierprogramme, Autorensysteme, Werkzeuge, Standardprogramme: Die Software stellt dem Benutzenden Werkzeuge/ Objekte/ Editorfunktionen zur Verfügung mit deren Hilfe er sich selbst eine virtuelle Umgebung (Mikrowelt) schaffen können. (z.B. ganz normale Programme wie Word etc.)

(6)  Spielgeschichten (Spielabenteur, Geschichtenspielwelten): Das sind Erzählungen, die am Computer «erspielt» werden. (Vom interaktiven Buch bis zum Multimediaabenteuer). 

Wir könnten sicherlich echte  (7) Spiele (ich bin da ganz undogmatisch, sofern sie Medienkompetenzen + Methodenkompetenz vermitteln) aufnehmen.
