Anfang 2016 stand dann unser erstes geimeinsames Turnier an.

正文:Reading about Gangster’s first show experience brought back memories of my own horse’s debut. The way you described the unfamiliar arena, the whinnying, and the backward running really captures how overwhelming it can be for both horse and rider. It’s easy to think competitions will be magical, but the truth is often messy and stressful. Your honesty about that disappointment is valuable — it reminds us that progress isn’t linear. The reality of first show nerves I appreciate that you didn’t sugarcoat the struggle, and I’m curious to hear how the season 16 successes came about after such a rocky start.
This post really resonates with anyone who has faced a humbling first competition. The detail about Gangster whinnying and fixating on other horses instead of focusing on you is so relatable — it’s easy to forget that horses feed off our nerves. I think many riders would have given up after that, but your decision to stick with it shows real dedication. Looking forward to reading how you turned it around in the 2016 season, especially since the groundwork you laid in that tough January must have paid off somehow.

My horse also froze in a strange arena; groundwork mattered more than rushing to jump.
