The SFB/TRR 102 will arrange an excursion to Evonik Industries AG at Chemiepark Marl on November 13-14 2019. The chemical park in Marl is on the largest chemical parks in Germany and the largest production site of Evonik. Members of the SFB together with its integrated research training group of Martin-Luther-Universität and Universität Leipzig, as well as other interested participants, will get an insight into research and the facilities of Evonik in Marl. Bus transport and accommodation will be provided by the SFB/TRR 102.

7 pm: Arrival at youth hostel, Haltern am See
November 14, 2019
9am – 3:30pm Visiting Evonik in Marl
4pm: Departure from Evonik
10pm: Arrival in Halle
- Factory site tour with visits of production facilities
- Lunch
- Visit of Creavis Evonik (Introduction to R&D of Evonik, talks, discussions with local researchers)
