[TGS] Starting up a business in Germany (November 18, 2024 )

There are free slots in a workshop organised by the Transfer and Entrepreneurship Office MLU Halle-Wittenberg.

Have you ever thought of becoming an international entrepreneur (in Germany)? No matter if you have a background in scientific/ academic research, in software development or arts, certain rules apply for any international founder (in Germany). If you’re curious to learn more about setting up your own business in Germany, this workshop during the entrepeneurship week is for you. 

Content

During the 2 hours we are going to take a closer look at the general conditions for doing business in Germany. The workshop will not only cover legal requirements, but also shed light on intercultural specifics and best practices, including examples from other international founders.

Some issues that will be addressed during the workshop:

  • Different options of starting up a business in Germany
  • Intercultural challenges, for instance how to negotiate in Germany
  • Central contacts for legal requirements
  • Existing legal forms for businesses in Germany

At the end of the workshop you can come up of course with your individual questions.
