[CTC] Meet the Founder (June 24, 2026 | on-site in Leipzig )
Innovation and Technology Transfer are essential parts of CTC’s DNA, the Center for the Transformation of Chemistry. Therefore, the CTC wants to stimulate the entrepreneurial mindset in students, PhD students, Post-Docs, and researchers. To do so, the CTC wants you to learn from role models. At “Meet the Founder” an invited founder will give a talk and present the business idea, the motivation, and the path pursued until today.
After the talk you will have the opportunity to network and chat to the founder. There will also be some snacks and drinks.

[HoMe] Scientific Publishing (June 25-26, 2026 | online)
There are vacancies in an online scientific publishing course offered by Hochschule Merseburg.
The English-language workshop “Scientific Publishing” will take place on June 25 and 26 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day). The workshop introduces the basics of scientific publishing and demonstrates how to successfully submit scientific articles to academic journals. GSO is now accepting applications for the 8th cohort of the Klaus Tschira Boost Fund, providing up to €115,000 in funding for postdoctoral researchers who:
- conduct non-clinical research in one or more of the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geosciences, Mathematics, Neurosciences and Physics
- are employed at a public university, university of applied sciences, or non-university research institution in Germany,
- do not yet have a permanent or tenured position,
- and have not yet successfully secured funding for a junior research group program
