Internationally mobile in the postdoc phase: European and global postdoc fellowships within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)
Content
The Postdoctoral Fellowships funded by the European Commission support excellent individual research projects by scientists who have already completed their doctorate at education institutions inside and outside Europe. They are divided into European Fellowships and Global Fellowships and aim to support scientific careers through international and, if necessary, intersectoral mobility. This is intended to support researchers in achieving or strengthening an independent research position.
Target group
PhD students and Postdocs in early career stage are invited to take part in the event. You will learn about the funding schemes of the European Fellowship and Global Fellowship as well as the application procedure.

The Max Planck Society invites outstanding applicants to apply for tenure-track Lise Meitner Research Group Leader positions. The appointments will be made in partnership with suitable Max Planck Institutes according to the applicants’ research topics.
With the Lise Meitner Excellence Program, the Max Planck Society expressly aims to attract and promote the careers of outstanding female scientists who are at an early stage of their scientific career and have a documented track record of independent and innovative research.
The call aims at postdocs or junior group-leaders. The deadline for applications is April 10th, 2024.

The Chair of Organizational Behavior of the Alfred Weber Institute (AWI) for Economics at the University of Heidelberg is looking for participants for a study on the topic of Time Use, Networking Behavior & Visibility in the academic field.
Participants (female/male/diverse) should already be at the Postdoc phase of their academic career or beyond. The study will take place across disciplines and universities and is in English. The study consists of a survey (approximately 35 minutes) and an experimental session (approximately 40 minutes). Both parts of the study will take place online. Earnings will be on average 20 Euros per hour depending on decisions and performance in different tasks.

Inspired by the celebration of the Postdoc Appreciation Week in the USA and the UK, the PAW Germany coordination team invited researchers and research institutions, postdoc coordinators and research administrators all over Germany to join in creating a special program, events and a social media campaign to honor the incredible work of postdocs!
The initiative was well taken and our colleagues and postdoc networks all over the country quickly put together a great program with a wide range of topics – most of them online and open for attendees from any institution in Germany.

Das Referat 6.1 – Forschungsförderung stellt die Förderlinie MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) des EU-Forschungsrahmenprogramms Horizon Europe vor. Gefördert werden transnationale Doktorandenprogramme mit einer Laufzeit bis zu 4 Jahren und mit unterschiedlichen Einrichtungen aus den akademischen und nicht-akademischen Bereichen. An der Teilnahme oder Koordination eines solchen Doktorandenporgramms Interessierte bekommen die Möglichkeit, sich über die Rahmenbedingungen der Förderlinie zu informieren.
