Podiumsdiskussion an der Uni Halle: Umgang mit der AfD
Die „Alternative für Deutschland“ (AfD) ist im Bundestag (2021: 10,3 Prozent) und in zahlreichen Landesparlamenten (Sachsen-Anhalt 2021: 20,8 Prozent) vertreten und liegt derzeit (Oktober 2023) in Umfragen bundesweit bei um die 20 Prozent, in Sachsen-Anhalt wurden jüngst Werte von über 30 Prozent ermittelt. Der Verfassungsschutz in Sachsen-Anhalt sieht die AfD als „rechtsextremistischen Verdachtsfall“ und das Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz sieht „ausreichende tatsächliche Anhaltspunkte für verfassungsfeindliche Bestrebungen innerhalb der Partei“. Das Institut für Politikwissenschaft diskutiert am 29. November 2023 die Frage: „Wie umgehen mit der AfD?“. Alle ProfessorInnen des Instituts führen mit kurzen Eingangsstatements in die Debatte ein. Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, sich an der Diskussion zu beteiligen. Die Veranstaltung findet statt von 18 bis 20 Uhr, Ort ist der Hörsaal I auf dem Steintor-Campus.
