Die Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg verfügt neben dem Hochschulstandort Halle auch über den Standort Wittenberg. Die Leucorea hat nicht nur in der Vergangenheit berühmte Lehrende gesehen, darunter Martin Luther und Philipp Melanchthon, sondern auch heute finden dort vielerlei Veranstaltungen statt.
