Zeitung „Das Parlament“ mit Sonderthema Parteien erschienen
Die vom Deutschen Bundestag herausgegebene Zeitung „Das Parlament“ ist heute (Ausgabe 33-34/2020) mit dem Sonderthema Parteien erschienen. Darin geht es unter anderem um den Grad der Polarisierung des bundesdeutschen Parteiensystems („im europäischen Vergleich moderat“), um die Frage, was Parteimitglieder bewegt (vier Beispiele von der Volks- bis zur Kleinstpartei), um den Stand der Digitalisierung der Parteiarbeit („Update nötig“), um die Frage, wie Parteiarbeit gerade für Frauen attraktiver weren kann („Eingeübte Rituale“) sowie um aktuelle Herausforderungen der Parteienfinanzierung. Artikel zu Parteiskandalen, zu Hass und Hetze gegen Politiker/innen sowie zum Parteiengagement auf der kommunalen Ebene runden die lesenswerte Ausgabe ab. Die akuelle Ausgabe gibt es beim Zeitschriftenhändler Ihres Vertrauens (in Halle etwa bei der Buchhandlung Ludwig im Hauptbahnhof) sowie online in Kürze hier.
Die Beilage „Aus Politik und Zeitgeschichte“ widmet sich unter der Überschrift „Jahrestage, Gedenktage, Jubiläen“ der so genannten „Jubiläumitis“ (Marko Demantowsky) bzw. der „Jahrestagisierung“ (so Anne Seibring im Editorial der aktuellen Ausgabe). Jacqueline Nießer und Juliane Tommann zum Beispiel beleuchten, wie man Geschichte in der Öffentlichkeit analysieren kann; Markus Drüding verknüpft Jahrestage und Jubiläen mit der Frage, inwieweit diese eine „Gelegenheit zum historischen Lernen“ bieten; Elke Gryglewski greift das Gedenken an den Holocaust („Ritual und Reflexion“) auf, und am Ende des Heftes macht sich Hedwig Richter einige Gedanken über Gedenktage in der Demokratie.
