Lektüretipp: „Die Ukraine und wir“ von Sabine Adler
Schon vor einigen Monaten neu erschienen, aber erst jetzt entdeckt: das Buch „Die Ukraine und wir“ der Journalistin Sabine Adler, die als Osteuropa-Expertin des Deutschlandfunks viele Jahre aus Moskau berichtet hat, ebenso das Hauptstadtstudio in Berlin geleitet hat und als Korrespondentin mit Schwerpunkt Polen, Belarus, baltische Länder und Ukraine im Studio Warschau tätig war. Natürlich laufen Neuerscheinungen zu aktuellen Ereignissen Gefahr, mit Erscheinen oder kurz danach nicht mehr up to date zu sein. Und das vorliegende Buch ist bereits im Juni 2022 abgeschlossen worden, seitdem hat der Krieg Russlands gegen die Ukraine eine ganze Reihe von weiteren Etappen erleben müssen. Diesem Risiko begegnet Sabine Adler, indem sie den historischen Bogen ihrer Ausführungen weit zieht und etwa die Annexion der Krim, die Ereignisse rund um den Euromaidan, die Nord-Stream-Abkommen, ja sogar den Zerfall der Sowjetunion und die Tschetschenienkriege mit einbezieht. Sie tut dies klar, eindeutig und meinungsstark.
