Dabei sind sie zugleich Sinnbild einer sich polarisierenden Gesellschaft, die Identitätskonflikte immer häufiger auch in einer Bildkultur austrägt, die ihre Distinktion aus Schnipseln, Referenzen und Kopien gewinnt.“
