Oststudenten sind glücklicher
Wir haben es ja immer schon gewusst, aber jetzt können wir unseren persönlichen Eindruck empirisch untermauern: Studenten in den neuen Bundesländern sind glücklicher und zufriedener als ihre Kommilitonen in den alten Bundesländern. Das Deutsche Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung in Berlin legt heute eine entsprechende Studie vor, die Süddeutsche Zeitung berichtete heute morgen vorab über die Ergebnisse der Studie. Leider ist mit dem Ende des Studiums die Situation nicht mehr so gut, wie der Spiegel in einem Artikel über die Studie berichtet. So müssen Absolventen in den alten Bundesländern nur 2,5 Monate suchen, bis sie ihren Job gefunden haben, während die Ostdeutschen durchschnittlich 4,3 Monate damit beschäftigt sind, wobei sie mehr Bewerbungen schreiben und Bewerbungsgespräche führen müssen. Desweiteren erhielten Absolventen von westdeutschen Hochschulen durchschnittlich ein Jahresgehalt von 34.000 Euro und von ostdeutschen Hochschulen nur 28.400 Euro.
