Die Webseiten abgeordnetenwatch.de und SPIEGEL Online haben gemeinsam ein „Abgeordnetenradar“ entwickelt, bei dem man für jeden einzelnen Abgeordneten des Deutschen Bundestages nachvollziehen kann, welche Nebeneinkünfte er jeweils hat. Gesucht werden kann nach „seinem“ Abgeordneten anhand von Alter, Geschlecht, Familienstand, Kinderzahl, Wahlkreis oder Ausschusszugehörigkeit.
Zugleich kann man das individuelle Abstimmungsverhalten des Abgeordneten nachvollziehen, etwa zu den großen Themen der letzten Monate wie die Verlängerung diverser Bundeswehreinsätze, das Wachstumsbeschleunigungsgesetz oder die inzwischen fast legendäre Mehrwertsteuersenkung für das Hotelgewerbe.
Schließlich besteht die Möglichkeit, per Link zu abgeordnetenwatch.de „seinem“ bzw. „seiner“ Abgeordneten direkt eine Frage zu aktuellen politischen Themen und/oder ein Anliegen aus dem Wahlkreis zukommen zu lassen. Die Fragen und potentiellen Antworten sind dann für alle Internetnutzer einsehbar.
