Gestorben: Tony Judt
Am vergangenen Freitag ist in New York der britische Historiker Tony Judt gestorben. Er wurde gerade einmal 62 Jahre alt und litt an der Lou-Gehrig-Krankheit. Tony Judt war im besten Sinne ein Gelehrter: voller Wissen, ein Experte nicht nur in der Geschichtswissenschaft, sondern auch in den Nachbardisziplinen, dabei unglaublich amüsant und vor allem in der Lage, dieses Wissen auch adäquat vermitteln zu können.
