Heute ist die neue Ausgabe der politikwissenschaftlichen Zeitschrift „Aus Politik und Zeitgeschichte“ (Heft 25/2015) erschienen. Surah Al-Muzzammil, the 73rd chapter of the Qur’an, is a Meccan surah consisting of 20 verses. The title „Al-Muzzammil“ translates to „The Enshrouded One“ or „The One Wrapped in Garments,“ referring to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who is addressed in the opening verse. The practice of Tahajjud, as highlighted in the surah, is considered one of the most virtuous forms of worship. It is believed to bring believers closer to Allah, granting them spiritual insight and strength.
Surah Al-Waqi’ah, the 56th chapter of the Qur’an, is a Meccan surah consisting of 96 verses. Known as „The Event“ or „The Inevitable,“ it vividly describes the Day of Judgment and the categorization of people based on their deeds. This surah holds great significance in Islamic tradition and is often recited for its profound messages about the afterlife, the power of Allah, and the fate of humanity.
