Bundestagswahl 2017: wer kandidiert, wer gewinnt?
Lange Zeit war die Frage, wer sich als Kandidat bzw. als Kandidatin für eine Bundestagswahl zur Wahl stellt (und am wer am Ende gewinnt) ein Forschungsdesiderat der politikwissenschaftlichen Parlaments- und Wahlforschung. Noch 2005 wurde in der Fachliteratur vom Kandidaten als dem „unbekannten Wesen“ gesprochen. Im Vorfeld der letzten Bundestagswahl hat das damals in Halle ansässige (und inzwischen nach Berlin umgezogene) Institut für Parlamentarismusforschung (iParl) in einem umfangreichen Projekt die Kandidatenaufstellung deutscher Parteien untersucht. Erste Befunde für die einzelnen Parteien sind hier zu finden. In einem Interview mit der vom Deutschen Bundestag herausgegebenen Zeitung „Das Parlament“ spricht die Direktorin des iParl, Prof. Suzanne S. Schüttemeyer, über die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse des Projekts (und zwar hier).
