Lektüretipp: „Demokratisierung der Demokratie“
Seit vielen Jahren wird in der Öffentlichkeit sowie innerhalb der Politikwissenschaft über die „Krise der Demokratie“, über „Postdemokratie“ oder die „Simulation der Demokratie“ gesprochen und diskutiert. In den Fokus gerät dabei oft auch eine (mögliche) Krise der demokratischen Repräsentation. In einem Beitrag für die Dezember-Ausgabe der Zeitschrift MERKUR, der soeben online gestellt wurde, wirft der Politikwissenschaftler Philip Manow einen Blick auf Geschichte und Gegenwart dieses Begriffes.
